Newly opened restaurant Canoodles has attracted customers with its creative pun of a name, which pokes at their curiosity as to see what’s inside. The restaurant has taken over what used to be Naga Naga Ramen and is now an Italian-Asian Fusion restaurant operated by Noodle World owner, John Mekpongsatorn.

The inside décor has completely changed, along with the menu. Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere feels modern, loving and warm. Plastered on the walls and in the logo are couples who “canoodle” and share their happiness in the noodles they are eating.

The restaurant serves a variety of dishes and not just noodles. There is an array of fusion dishes that are served and the cuisines they offer range from Thai to Italian to Vietnamese to Japanese and much more. The noodle dishes offered include such items as ramen, pho, pad thai and a variety of pastas such as fettuccine and ravioli. The dishes are served in colorful bright plates and bowls.

Some popular dishes include the Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo, which was delicious and served with flavorful garlic bread, and the Spicy Mint Leaf Chicken Pizza sautéed with fresh spices bringing an explosion to the taste buds.  Also, the specialty dishes like the Spicy Kimchi Fried Rice was quite savory as well.

The prices are relatively affordable with an average dish costing from $7 to $10. The portions are quite reasonable, and easy to share with another person, if the need be. The dessert menu is filled with fancy desserts like Crème Brulee and Tiramisu, which come to par with the main dishes when it comes to deliciousness.

Canoodles is open for everyone to eat at, and not only couples. It is located at 46 W. Valley Blvd.  in Alhambra and is open seven days a week. For more information call (626)300-0010.
