It was No. 9 in the state hosting the top-ranked team. Who would win? No one. The Huskies and San Bernardino Valley College men’s soccer teams tied 1-1, last night at East Los Angeles College.

As a result, ELAC dropped two spots to No. 11 while the Wolverines, still top-ranked, were stunned. SBVC dominated early and led 1-0 at the half.  ELAC scored in the 70th minute after dominating most of the game but came up short of winning.

It was the third time in four years the teams tied.

ELAC gets another big test and will face Oxnard College, the No. 2-ranked team in the state, Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Oxnard.
