Billie Eilish performs a heartwarming concert film, “Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles,” that gives fans, viewers and listeners a reason to fall in love with her.

The concert film is set at the Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, California, with no audience. She sings alongside her brother Finneas O’ Connell with guitar, cords and background singing.

In this film she performs her new album, “Happier than Ever.”

Eilish said this is the first time that she does a concert of her whole album from front to back. “Welcome to the Hollywood Bowl…I am very excited for this and I couldn’t be any more happier.”

The new album was released on July 30, 2021.

The album showcases various genres such as rock, pop and electropop. Eilish does a fantastic job combining upbeat songs with angelic ballads such as “my future” and “getting older.” Throw a little rock and roll with soul, like “Happier than ever,” and “NDA” into the mix and fans got a new great album.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra conducted by Gustavo Duhame is also featured in the concert film on some of the songs with Eilish such as “Billie Bossa Nova” and “Halley’s Comet.” They bring a contemporary sound to her new album along with a beautiful set up with dim lights to bring out the ambiance.

The film also has special guests such as Romero Lubamo playing acoustic guitars and a choir that she was a part of growing up.

Throughout the film viewers see Eilish as an animated character cruising around the streets of Los Angeles between songs. She is the only animated character in the film. The background and car she drives are live action. She chose this Disney as her platform to bring out her love for that platform.

Eilish said this is the first time that she does a concert of her entire album front to back.

Billie Eilish first debuted back in 2015 when she released her very first single “Ocean Eyes.” Six years later she is on album number four with six grammys under her belt within the last two years.

“Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles” is streaming on Disney Plus.
