The GoPass is a partnership between the LACCD and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
The goal of the program is to address the address transportation equity and allow LACCD students increased access to their education.
Once students have received their GoPass, they then need to activate it by visiting the URL www.taptogo.net/gopass.
Once there students must scroll down and select the first option under the “I am a Community College Student” section.
After filing out the student information, including the 16-20 digit number on the back of the Tap card and a unique Eligibility Code found on the front label.
Once the online form is completed, the card will take up to one hour to be activated. The GoPass must be tapped on a Metro fare box within 45 days of activation. The Metro GoPass expires December 31.
