Recruits sign letters of intent

By Robert Barrett Every year, outstanding football players sign letters of intent to play at universities, and on Feb. 2, three players from East Los Angeles College took that big step forward. ELAC sophomores Anthony Denham, Chris Dunlap and Jeremy Harris committed to National Collegiate Athletic Association Division 1 schools. “Classic” rivalry helps raise funds at alumni game

By Robert Barrett The East Los Angeles Classic rivalry was put to good use on Saturday to help raise money for both Garfield and Roosevelt high school. Alumni from both schools had a chance to strap the pads back on and play in the First Annual Garfield vs. Roosevelt Alumni Football Game at ELAC Weingart Stadium.
