Cameras should be turned on for online classes

he ruling on synchronous class came down and they vary depending on college. I think students should comply and have their cameras on for synchronous online classes.
Some students are unable to have their camera on whether it be because of financial or personal reasons. But they can let the instructor know about it.
They can sort out the problem and come to an understanding. Having cameras on can simulate the in-classroom feeling.

Student round table tackles remote learning

The first student leadership roundtable covered the status of the Los Angeles Community College District financially and educationally through remote learning.
Friday, the LACCD Chancellor, Francisco Rodriguez, reminded students that the choice to return to on-campus classes is under the jurisdiction of the Public Health Department.

Important dates for Fall 2020 Students

East Los Angeles College’s Fall 2020 classes have started, and students should be aware of some important dates. Classes that meet for less than 16 weeks have different add and drop dates.
