ELAC student in army reserves shares her story

Josselin Badilla is an East Los Angeles College student who joined the U.S. Army reserves officially on Feb. 2.
Since she was a child, she always wanted to join the army.
She was in the Junior Reserve Officer Corp in high school and Reserve Officer Corp at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

‘Kindred’ actor receives first lead role

By Stevie Rodriguez Clifton Smith is currently starring in the play “Kindred” at East Los Angeles College, directed by Daniel Keleher, which runs on the weekends of May 16-18 & 23-25. Smith has acted in three other plays but this is his first lead role. Smith’s character in Kindred is Joey, whom is a prisoner facing a life sentence.
