Due to a potential threat off of West Floral Dr., the classes in the F9 bungalows at East Los Angeles College are canceled.
“One to two suspects involved in a shooting in Downtown Los Angeles are believed to be in an apartment complex behind campus,” Dean of Academic Affairs Kerrin McMahan said,“weapons may be still unaccounted for.”
LAPD has shut down all of West Floral Dr. located behind ELAC. A police barricade has also been set up directly on the streets of College View and the surrounding streets.
Classes in the F9 bungalows were immediately evacuated from the buildings.
