The East Los Angeles College wrestling team finished the day with seven Huskies being named to the All Southeast Conference Team at the Southeast Dual Meet Championships Nov. 15 at Bakersfield College.
ELAC sophomores Joseph Magdaleno-Hudson of the 165-pound weight class, Maury Lemons (285) and freshman Juan Soto (184) were all chosen to the All-SEC First Team.
Freshmen Johnny Robles (125), Jonathan Mandujano (149) and sophomores Daniel Martinez (141) and Adrian Herrera (184) were names to the All-SEC Honorable Mention Team.
“It feels great to know that all the hard work I’ve put in is paying off,” Soto said.
Soto finished the day as the only undefeated wrestler winning all of his matches by pin.
