Unknown suspect shot student with BB gun

By Sienna Hennessy

A female student reported that she was shot in the neck with a BB gun in ELAC’s Parking Structure 3 at 9:40 p.m. on Feb. 28.

The incident occurred on the second level of the parking structure.

According to the crime alert sent out the next day by the Los Angeles Community College District to the campuses, the student alleged that the aggravated assault was committed by unknown suspects in a black sedan with a female driver, and they drove off.

The crime alert stated that all descriptors of the suspects were unknown aside from the sex of the black sedan’s driver.

Campus News spoke with Sheriff Deputy Elizabeth Elias yesterday at the campus Sheriff’s Station for more information.

Elias said the report was not ready at that time and that a deputy from the night shift responded to the incident.

Campus News will follow up with more reporting. The follow up will be available on elaccampusnews.com once more information is known.
