LACCD Chancellor Daniel LaVista announces plans to resign

Dream Act Workshop educates students

The Dream Act and AB 540 will be discussed in a workshop on campus today from 2 pm to 3:30 pm  in E1-189.  The workshop is being held by Students for Equal Rights. AB 540 is a state law that helps undocumented students by providing cost savings. The Dream Act is federal legislation that supports a path to residency.  Education is a primary path for the Dream Act.
