Pregnant women more at risk of illness from COVID-19

Pregnant people should be included in early clinical trials of pandemic vaccines. Excluding this subset of the population is detrimental to everyone.
According to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there is an increased risk of severe illness and pregnancy complications from COVID-19 for pregnant people.

Masks should be worn as long as they have to and not just until June 15, when the mandate ends. They should even be further implemented into our lifestyles.

The Center for Disease Control published new guidelines last tuesday for people who are fully vaccinated. These guidelines state that people who are fully vaccinated can participate in “normal” activities after two weeks, if they show no symptoms after getting the second dose.
