Last Chance U: Basketball returning for second season
The second season of “Last Chance U: Basketball” will return to Netflix in December and continues following the men’s basketball team and head coach John Mosley.
COVID-19 disrupts women’s basketball team recruitment
It’s been a tough situation for East Los Angeles College Head Coach Bruce Turner with the pandemic still ongoing.
“[COVID-19] has affected recruiting and our numbers,” Turner said.
The team currently has 14 players on the roster. There are nine sophomores and five freshmen on the team. Three players are still pending to join the team.
Basketball player flies past adversity
East Los Angeles College’s basketball team ended last season 29-1, attracting many new athletes who hoped to gain opportunities for their futures through the love of the sport. One of these students is Noel Scott, a freshman point guard who graduated from Washington High School.
