With students constantly on the search for the right college, Guided Pathways is meant to help all students figure out their path at East Los Angeles College. However, as of late it has been difficult to gauge with students due to COVID-19 on the proper paths. Specifically those among theatre arts, journalism, architecture and a wide range of majors.
Guided Pathways helps East Los Angeles College students map out an educational path, specifically tailored to a student, based on interests and skills.
The California Guided Pathways Project teamed up with the Community College Research Center for eight years of research, on American community college students.
Its purpose is to help students succeed in choosing the best courses suited for their academic goals.
These group activities will occur during events known as the Meta Major Card Sorting Days.
